Dr. Frances Cress Welsing (1935-2016)
On Saturday January 2, 2016 we have suffered the major lost of author, psychiatrist, elder, master teacher, and social justice warrior, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing at age 80. Dr. Welsing has a major influence in the field of psychology, starting with the publishing of her essay, ” The Cress Theory of Color Confrontation ” in 1974 and then the publishing of The Isis Papers: The Keys to the Colors (1991).
In both the essay and the book (a collection of 25 essays) Dr. Welsing examines the psychology of white people and the system that benefits them, racism white supremacy. She explained that white supremacy racism is a local, national, and global system created by white people (who are the global minority) to ensure white people’s genetic survival on this planet.
